Basically yes you did screw it up. Right now she has a bf so you just need to wait and be a good friend until that relationship is over. If you want to get her to develop more feellings for you then try to spend as much "friendship" time as you can with her. Explain to her that you know why you two didnt work out and if you ever got a second chance things would be different. Dont play hard to get as that sort of y jerky image of yourself is what got you into this trouble in the first place. Try to show her that you are a kind, compionate person who is caring and giving. Do not even show a hint of controlling her or your jealousy or its over permanently. Everyone deserves a second chance so dont blow this one.
