Problems in business and inheritance, what should I do?
My brother and I come from a very powerful family, and our family has been, for a long time, major managers for a very powerful French... eh business. We worked hard, while the original owners of the business did less and less. In fact, my father, Charles, did everything for them, and after his death, it was my elder brother Carloman and I who did all the work. The recent owner did nothing at all, and was extremely fainant. People regarded him as a joke. After a while my brother retired to Italy. I was left all alone to do all the work, and the recent owner was not a great help, in fact, he tried to prevent me to do the right things. I was tired of it, and decided to get rid of him. But, I am a nice person and have conscience, and I am very religious, too. So, I wrote to Pope and asked him, who should manage the business - the person who inherited the business, or the person who does everything? The Pope decided that those who act should own the business, so I sent the recent owner into a comfortable retirement to Saint-Bertin (with his son Theuderic). Everybody supported me, and the business went better. But, now, the tide is turning. People are started to say that the original owner of my business was not that helpless, that he wanted to do things, was smart, and that I forced him to go. Some scribblers wrote songs and pamphlets and some painted painted pictures, showing him helpless and forced to go away. My image suffers! What should I do?
