Wat rodent pet is best for my situation?

okay, i really want a pet, and my mom wont let me have a cat or a dog. i like rodents, but i dont know what to get. it would have to be one that will be okay with me being at school five days a week. also my parents are separated, and i live in my mothers duriong the second halfo of wednesday, thursday and friday and saturday. im with my father the rest of the time and we alternate in saturday. so the pet will have to move houses 2 times a week. my father travels alot, so sutimes i go to my mothers on different days. wut makes it hardest is that my mom detests all kinds of rodents or anything that looks like them, that means that they cant be running around the house in site. ofcource id prefer a mouse tha isnt lame, put it that way.
